Our first Christmas in the new building is merry, festive and bright.
The Calvin Jones House, though closed for the holidays, is gorgeously decorated with green wreaths, candles and garlands.
Visitors to the newly constructed exhibit space behind the house are treated to the sight of a pair of Christmas trees. The first, decorated by Louise Howard, makes perfect use of her broad collection of traditional ornaments and artifacts. The second is a gold and black tribute to the memory of
Wake Forest college.
For the Town of Wake Forest and its college, originally founded with the purpose of educating Baptist ministers, this is a special time of year. The museum's seasonal decor beautifully celebrates that mission.
